Nodes Point Holiday Park

We stayed at Parkdean Nodes Point on the Isle of Wight and it’s one of the best located holiday parks we have visited. The park is right next to the beach and within walking distance of St Helens village. We stayed in a lodge with a sea view and used the park as a base to explore the island including the steam railway, beaches and seaside towns.

Food And Facilities

We really liked eating in the restaurant, and they passed the test of being able to cook a good steak. There were also great offers on. There wasn’t a chip shop as such, but i believe that you could order takeaways from the bar.

We also had breakfast in the restaurant several times with the boys enjoying the American Breakfasts.

Things To Do Nearby

There is plenty to do on the Isle of Wight including the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Ryde, Shanklin, Sandown and the Needles. St Helens is a short walk from the park and has a nice village green and pub. The beach next to the park is also great for walks and views across the Solent.

Getting there and Map

It was about a 30-minute drive from Fishbourne, where our ferry docked, although we encountered some diversions. There are buses to Ryde and Sandown right outside the site, which is really useful if you are in a motorhome or just fancy a pint with your lunch.

Our Thoughts

We really liked Nodes Point because of the location. Being able to walk to the beach and into St Helens was a big plus. The Isle of Wight is also easy to explore by car or bus. We would definitely return, especially for a lodge with a sea view.
