Getting there and Map

Trecco Bay is easiest to reach by car via the M4 (Junction 37). There is a bus stop outside the park and services into Porthcawl. The nearest train station is Pyle, about 10 minutes by car or taxi, so travelling entirely by train is possible but not the easiest option.

Our Thoughts

Trecco Bay is a classic British seaside holiday park right next to the beach in Porthcawl. Staying near the seafront made the holiday feel quieter and more relaxed, although it was a bit of a walk to the main facilities. The park has a huge entertainment complex and plenty for families to do, and the coastal location is one of its biggest advantages. Overall, Trecco Bay is more about traditional seaside holidays than luxury lodges, but the location and atmosphere make it a really enjoyable place to stay.
