Getting there and Map

Getting to Parkdean Sandford Holiday Park was quite straightforward. We came via the M3 and then followed the main roads towards Poole. The roads were all major A-roads and easy to drive, and we didn’t encounter any difficult lanes or access issues near the park. The final approach to the site is well signposted and the entrance is easy to find.

Our Thoughts

[Your personal opinion, who it is good for, whether you would return.]Our trip to Parkdean Sandford started with a bit of motorway drama when our campervan developed a coolant leak on the M4, but once we arrived the holiday quickly became one of our most memorable Parkdean stays.

The park felt cleaner and better maintained than some other Parkdean sites we’ve visited, and the facilities were excellent, especially the sports area, archery and indoor pool which the boys loved. The lodge was easily one of the best we’ve stayed in, with walk-in wardrobes in both bedrooms which felt surprisingly luxurious for a holiday park.

The park is quite large and slightly hilly in places, particularly between the lodges and the sports area, but there are car parks near the main facilities which makes getting around easier.

One of the biggest advantages of Sandford is its location near Poole, Sandbanks and Brownsea Island, and there is a bus stop right outside the park which is very useful if you don’t want to drive everywhere.

Overall, Sandford felt like a well-run, well-located holiday park with plenty to do both on site and nearby, and we would definitely return.
